About the College Park Skyhawks

College Park Skyhawks

Home to the world’s most traveled airport in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International and Georgia’s newest convention center, the Georgia International Convention Center, the city of College Park is the new home of the Atlanta Hawks’ NBA G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. With its inaugural 2019-20 season beginning in November, the Skyhawks will host games at the new Gateway Center at College Park, a 3500-seat multipurpose sports and entertainment venue, that will be the premier event facility in south Atlanta. Owned and operated by the Atlanta Hawks, the Skyhawks ownership team includes Grammy Award-winning recording artist, hip-hop superstar and College Park native Tauheed “2 Chainz” Epps.

2 Chainz will join an ownership group led by Principal Owner Tony Ressler and Vice Chair of the Board and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Grant Hill and adds to the group one of the most recognizable and respected leaders in the south Atlanta community.
